i'd go with I'll Pretend I Didn't Hear That; a broken rule is acknowledged, but ignored. in this case, since the underage person has become a friend of the group, the broken rule has attention drawn to it, but it's ultimately allowed to happen regardless.
A character breaks some sort of rule to do something, for example, going to a bar while underage with a fake id. People eventually realize that they aren't of age and/or breaking said rule, but by this point, the person is so ingrained with everyone, that nothing is done about it. Sort of like a "They can't stop all of us" or "very lightly policed rule" scenario.
