Back in either elementary or junior high, I rented a book that is a graphic novel about a boy who is a secret agent. Can't remember the exact title and plot, but I do remember some key details. The graphic novel might be an adaptation of an existing kid's book novel...that I also forgot the name of, and the main character is blond. The main villains are some rich people I think. Two things that stood out are that one of his gadgets is a Nintendo DS with extra nifty features such as a smokescreen and communications device and a copy of Mario Kart DS which does nothing but hey free game. This also zeroes in a specific timeframe which might be around the early 2000s. Another event was an eel who was in an aquarium which zapped a fish into bones and later on in the story, a woman was knocked into the aquarium glass which shatters and an eel landed on her, though thankfully she wasn't electrocuted to death. The genre is spy fiction, kind of similar to Totally Spies or Spy Kids but slightly more grounded. Anyone might know what the book is?
EDIT: Solved, it's Alex Rider. Specifically, an adaptation of the first book, Stormbreaker.
