It could be a Sequel Hook if this new enemy ends up being important in the sequel, but the way you describe it suggests not. It'd probably only be a Sequel Hook if a sequel actually confirms it. (Usually sequel hooks are more like a monster revealing itself to the camera, but the heroes have no idea it exists yet.)

Is there a trope for when the last scene of a movie features a new monster oe enemy, so the hero can do the whole "I've got this!" thing and ride off to fight it? The idea being that now the hero's confident enough, and that he'll be having many more adventures after the movie.
