Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

^ Just the part that's speculative; the entry itself is fine otherwise.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.

I removed the speculation citing this thread.

A mild edit war but I'd like to nip it in the bud right here.
On Trivia.South Par Q Vaccination Special, on March 11th, BNSF1995 added this section
to a Missing Trailer Scene entry, which I have bolded:
(For context in case the political terminology scares people: the special is explicitly about QAnon, and there was a gender war plotline back in Season 20 of the show that never really got properly resolved.)
I removed this on March 14th
on the basis of speculation, with the edit reason "Seems too speculative. Just because there's no girls in a scene in the boys' bathroom and the people mad at Stan and company happen to be girls doesn't necessarily indicate a planned gender war." I admit to adding slight speculation in the entry by assuming where the missing trailer scene would have gone in the episode, but I think speculating about an entire cut plot based on some five-second clips is too much and belongs on a WMG page.
Four days later, BNSF added back a very similar section
speculating on basically the same thing, seemingly ignoring the reason I removed the entry.
I sent them a speculation notifier on April 2nd, then waited for them to return to editing. I see they returned to the site today, but they did not respond to my notifier, and the speculative content is still on the page. I think it should be cut, because content related to South Park Season 20 attracts enough episodic troping and wild mass guessing on the main pages already, and I'd like to cut down on it whenever we can.
