Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
I think the whole point of Fridge is that those things don't get answered. Especially if it's something you "disagree" with- that's an opinion thing.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallI think Headscratchers allows you to answer questions. If it's something that does have an answer in-universe and the person adding Fridge just missed that detail, then IDK what the protocol is.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Though, by the way the query was described, it sounds less like they're talking about Fridge Logic and more like Fridge Brilliance, which doesn't ask questions and instead makes opinionated claims.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallIn the case of Fridge Logic, should we just delete it if the "problem" is just a result of them missing a detail?
^ It's only Fridge Logic that consists of unanswered questions, but yeah. It's not up to readers to answer the questions on Fridge pages. The requirement for Fridge pages is that it takes multiple viewings/playthroughs to pick up on subtle moments people missed the first time through.
If it's not a subtle detail, it's likely shoehorning and can be removed. Trying to post "Actually it's..." as a sub-bullet to an item is natter and can be excised too.

I know discussing on pages are not allowed, but is it allowed to answer to fridges on a Fridge page in case we don't really agree with it?
