Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

Looks like the mods have zapped it, as it's gone again and not in the edit history.

A few weeks ago, I cleaned up Determinator.Real Life. Yesterday, a troper named Dommie222 has re-added the following example, which I had deleted (similarly worded) when I cleaned up the page:
* Muammar al-Gaddafi. he faced both a rebel army and the might of the air forces of NATO, and he simply refused to give up his power over Libya to anybody. You've to respect the man for his determination and fighting spirit, whatever if you supported him or not.
Methinks this is very YMMV, violates the Rule Of Cautious Editing Judgment and is more than a little Flame Bait-y (in other words, the reasons why I deleted it in the first place). Just wanted to make sure that I am right in deleting this (again). I sense the possibility of an edit war. Edited by LordGro
