Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
This has actually been brought up twice, though I can't remember which threads. I had been one of the ones who brought it up before, and the only reason I didn't create the thread is because I don't have a good enough grasp of the problems with the pages to really outline what's wrong. Knock yourself out if you want to create one, though I recommend doing it in Short-Term Projects.
TRS Queue | Works That Require Cleanup Of Complaining | Troper WallAlright, I'll probably get on it sometime this week. Any reason why to do it there specifically?
One cleanup thread later...Short-Term is pretty much where all of the specific work-driven cleanups have gone so far. There's a Bo Jack Horseman cleanup there, an Undertale cleanup, a Loud House cleanup, a Star Trek cleanup, etc. Also it can be for tropes that need cleanup, but not as much attention as Long-Term, such as What An Idiot, Jerks Are Worse Than Villains, and the thread I created for cleaning up Franchise Killer, Creator Killer, and Genre-Killer.
Long-Term is usually for really big projects that never seem to end, like the complaining cleanup, the natter cleanup, some of the cleanups for the more contentious and problematic tropes like Overshadowed by Controversy or Nightmare Fuel, etc. Sponge Bob probably wouldn't go there, as while it attracts a lot of complaining, it doesn't attract nearly as much as the pages that ended up in Long-Term.
In short, Short-Term would be a good place to put it.

I mentioned this in the discussion tab of YMMV.Sponge Bob Square Pants to no response, but does anyone think the show's pages could use some cleanup? As noted in the Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining, a lot of SB pages tend to attract complaining about Seasonal Rot and certain infamous episodes, plus references to certain Caustic Critics and potentially out-of-date entries from before Hillenburg's return and before his untimely death. I feel there should be an effort to go over the series' pages and remove the more complain-y posts.
