Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help. It's not for everything, though. That'd be Win The Crowd, yes, but I agree that it might not be an example. Not enough of a time gap b/w the announcement of a port and the announcement of Bowser's Fury.

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.

As an aside, the Super Mario 3D All-Stars pothole is technically in error. VideoGame.Super Mario All Stars is for the SNES game, and 3D All-Stars should get its own page.

I removed the first sentence for being Word Cruft and removed the Super Mario All-Stars pothole from the part about Super Mario 3D All-Stars.

^ You accidentally broke a note tag. I would fix it, except I've had a hand on that entry in the past (prior to the wordcruft getting added), so I might start an edit war if I fix it myself.

I can fix it. Where's the broken tag?

In the first bullet of the Win The Crowd entry. Though as another aside, there's really no point in 3D All-Stars having its own page, as it almost doesn't bring any new tropes to the table, plus any tropes it does have are listed on the All-Stars page anyway.

I didn't know I broke the note tag at the time. Sorry about that; I would have fixed it if I had checked the replies sooner.

FWIW, I don't think repairing a broken note tag would be considered (or initiate) an edit war.

^ Correct. From Edit War:

Exception: We generally recognize exceptions to the edit warring policy in cases where the editor is making an article compliant with wiki policies (such as removing a YMMV example from a primary article or correcting formatting).
