Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
No. A mod is not made by the game creators; it is essentially a fan work and you would trope it as such. You would not put tropes for Paradise Lost on The Bible. See Game Mod Index for examples of mods with pages.
Then don't make pages for them; it's that simple -- not everything can get a page on this site. Although you only need three; if they can fit 'several' tropes they could be tropable.
What Twiddler said — in this case, mods would be like fanfics, and would go in either the "Video Games" or "Fan Works" folders depending on what's on the trope's page. (Funnily enough I put an example from the Corruption mod on Break the Cutie the other day)

If we want to make Trope examples of mods, say Friday Night Funkin', then how do we go about it? No Mods for that game are really long enough to warrant their own Trope pages, but can fit several tropes and are fairly professionally made.
This is true for a lot of works. For example, the Inigo mod for Skyrim is very in depth and has many tropes that people might be interest in posting somewhere without needing to make a whole new Trope page for it. Since the Inigo mod its own world, but exclusive to Skyrim we don't need a page for it, but Inigo, himself, fits many tropes.
