Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
You mean the button for a YMMV page? It's added automatically when you create the YMMV page.
It shows up if the page is in the YMMV.Home Page or Audience Reactions index.
Yeah, that one. My issue here is that the YMMV is in english, not spanish. I need to name it EsYMMV/JoJo if its in spanish, but that isnt the correct namespace.
Edited by Braylovsky Yo soy el futuro, luwawanu mu sadila kisalasala kio.Sounds like what we need is EsYMMV.Home Page and Es.Audience Reactions (Es.Reacciones De La Audiencia ?) to list the relevant Spanish-translated items, and for those two pages to be marked as YMMV indices and make the YMMV warning show up?
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.Thats an excelent solution, wingedcatgirl. I didnt even think about it... Thats possible?
But yeah, maybe thats all. The part about Es/ReaccionesDeLaAudiencia is correct.
Yo soy el futuro, luwawanu mu sadila kisalasala kio.It would require mod-level action to make the relevant indices apply the YMMV flag, we think? Not 100% on that.
But the rest is a simple matter of writing up two index pages and putting the relevant articles on them.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing. You may want to Sandbox the articles first, however.
Rawr.^^I'm pretty sure that would be an admin-level change; I'm pretty sure coding was required when the main YMMV index was moved from Main.YMMV to YMMV.Home Page (that TRS thread was before I was active on TRS).

I know it sounds dumb, but how do you add this box on top of the tropes created that fall in the category of YMMV?
Im kinda new in this site, and I mainly edit the spanish side of TV Tropes. After so many edits in so many pages, I started wondering how to add those boxes so I can put the "neutral" spanish translated tropes in one place, and the "opinions influenced" spanish translated tropes in another.
I was chatting with another troper, and he says that the moderators put them when the trope is created (of course, he was guessing). I dont know how to be a mod, plus I think I dont have enough experience to be a mod, since I created this account in 2017, and only started editing in mid 2020. But also, maybe would be a pain for some mod to put this boxes in every trope we created, and write them in spanish.
Is it possible to add these boxes?
Sorry if my english is broken.
