I'm not sure if that's quite accurate, actually - Strictly Formula means the show follows the same "formula" in everything, while this seems to be about just episode structure.

But if I understand the references to the Three Act Model, it's not about plotline, it's about structure. For instance, a show that always has three acts, a teaser, and a stinger, would be an example of what drwhodat is looking for, but it wouldn't be Strictly Formula - there's lots of possible plotlines that could fit in a structure like that.
