I'd say gut it. It's not needed, and it makes the assumption things will, for sure, be revealed when it could potentially not be.

It’s probably best to rewrite the whole example in cases like that so it doesn’t even take the form of a question.

Probably something along the lines of changing "What is the villain going to do?" to "It's never revealed what the villain is going to do."

Does it? I would have thought that on the recap page for the season 2 finale, it's clear enough that "next season" is season 3.

I agree it could maybe be worded better, but I also don't think the original wording is quite as bad as some people are saying.

^Misread the opening post because I'm incredibly tired (currently in the process of trying to fix my sleep schedule, since it's been messed up the past few days). Maybe it's not a violation of Examples Are Not Recent in this case, but it would be more convenient for readers to simply link to the next season's page.
