Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
I'd imagine it's because of the large amount of inbounds. Unlike with namespace moves, after a title change the auto-disambig does not point to the correct page(s). The Trivia/ page should be cutlisted again, we don't redirect these.
Edited by SeptimusHeap "For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAre there any other indices that work like this? I noticed recently that redirecting FanWorks.Axis Powers Hetalia to FanWorks.Hetalia Axis Powers seemed to cause many Hetalia fanfics to list both as indexes. Is it likely the same issue?
No, that's a different issue: you didn't uncheck the "does indexing" mention on the page type before turning the page into a redirect. The result is a known minor bug, that keeps the unwanted indexing.
The solution is to edit the redirect to temporarily neutralize it, and uncheck this "does indexing", before correcting the redirect. I've just done so.
PS: But to answer your first question, there are indeed other automated indices, notably for the Laconic tab.

After moving the work and all its supbages to Film.Poltergeist 1982 and making Film.Poltergeist into a disambiguation, I turned the film's subpages into redirect and cutlisted them (standard procedure).
Is there a reason why some subpages were cut (Awesome/, Headscratchers/, TearJerker/, WMG/) while the request was declined for others (Funny/, NightmareFuel/, ReferencedBy/, Trivia/, YMMV/)?
I mean, it's generally an all-or-nothing process.
