Oh my goodness, I just looked up the site (I remember it from back in the day), and I actually found it under the MP 3 section! It's even got some of the other files I mentioned my Dad downloading back in the day! Thank you so much!
I don't care.

Back in the early 2000's when I was into Mario, my dad found a number of songs, presumably from Mario fan-sites. These included things like the theme songs to the Mario cartoons and such. One, however, was a parody of the Ghostbusters theme, based on Luigi's Mansion.
I don't remember what it said in lieu of "something strange in the neighborhood", but I do remember that instead of the "Ghostbusters!" line, it said "Luigi!" (the second "Luigi!" was shouted in a particularly obnoxious manner). During the instrumental break, a voiceover explained the plot of the game, starting with "Mario's in trouble..."
The song ended with a Boo laugh, followed by presumably Luigi himself saying "Luigi's not afraid..." or vice versa.
Anybody else know what I'm talking about? I couldn't find it on You Tube, and there's a good chance it's been lost to time, but it would be interesting to know if anyone's at all familiar with this.
