Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.

I personally think six examples for a trope subpage for a work isn't enough, though admittedly they are lengthier than most examples. Even Monster/ pages specific to works have to have at least seven examples if I remember correctly, and examples on them have a similar length.
Edited by Piterpicher Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods Of Incremental)I think that page should be pruned. The Sociopath is a character trope and should be listed on the concerned characters. To even make a page for it is a sneaky and sleazy way to avoid getting grilled for not complying to the Complete Monster cleanup thread.
"They played us like a DAMN FIDDLE!" — Kazuhira Miller, Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom PainI'm so glad someone raised this question. When I spotted the page existed, I cleaned that page initially to fit in with the other RWBY sub-pages, but, as I was really uncomfortable with its existence, I asked on the RWBY forum thread (19th September) whether it should. I didn't get any feedback, however.
Personally, I don't think the page should exist either.
Edit: I notice the page was cut before the entries were moved. They're going to need to be recreated from the history pages. However, I've put them on the Is This An Example? thread to see if they're legitimate examples before I restore them to the Web Animation page.
Edited by Wyldchyld If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.

Obviously some works prefer to use specific tropes a lot. But I was browsing The Sociopath and saw that a separate RWBY page was made. I think rule of thumb is if there are a lot of specific examples that total to a long length, a separate page can be made. But RWBY has six, admittedly lengthy, examples. I'm not familiar with the work so I don't know if a separate page is warranted. Thoughts?
