Personally I think listing a Fandom-Specific Plot doesn't need to link to a specific work because the implication is this plot is used in so many fanfics that it's practically redundant to list specific fanfics. However, listing at least one example would go a long way to prove this isn't something someone pulled out of their ass.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.I've noticed that fanfic-related tropes have a tendency to be treated by default as Tropes in Aggregate, even if there's no reason to do so — not a thing happening in a fanfic, but a thing happening in a fandom.
Suddenly I'm... still rotating Fallen London in my mind even though I've stopped actively playing it.This issue is one reason why Ron the Death Eater and Draco in Leather Pants are so hotly-debated. People can't agree if they're full of "general" examples or not.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallFandom-Specific Plot sound like it covers the audience reaction that results in such stories being common.
How about moving examples that don't list specific fics to from Fix Fic, Accusation Fic, ex. to Fandom-Specific Plot?
Edited by Ferot_DreadnaughtFix Fic is about the fan work, not the original work, so examples that are not about one fan work are general.
So remove the general and move it to Fandom-Specific Plot unless it gives specific examples of such fics?

FixFic.Fanfiction:
I worry these violate Examples Are Not General unless it lists at least one example of such fic.
Relating, most of the Starlight Glimmer examples were deleted as "evenge fics at best, and accusation fics at worst. If they truly were fix fics, they would have actually fixed what the author perceived as a problem, but instead they made them worse." Was that valid? How can we tell where it crosses to whick for and are they incompatible? And if Starlight getting karma un-fixes the Season 6 finale where's she's essential to it's happy ending, what then?
Mostly I'm asking if listing genres of fanworks per fandom need specific examples to be valid?
