I think it works for now. Hard to say if legless characters would work as a trope (what meaning does it have).

I can see how this fits, considering Nabla kinda just slides on the ground when moving instead of hopping like Slurpy or Stapy.

Also I guess it would work for if they didn't have legs naturally or were born without them due to a birth defect.
