That example seems to be a doubtful example. Abby father is not the hero of the game. Or presented as a hero in either case. Just seems to exist to vent about the character. Also as you stated the girl was willing to sacrifice herself , she would have made the choice irregardless. I would remove for inaccuracy .
Whether "the girl was willing to sacrifice herself" or not is irrelevant - the entry is about Jerry and no one else. Since he is not (presented as) The Hero of the story Designated Hero seems like the wrong trope. Unintentionally Unsympathetic seems like a better fit.
YMMV.The Last Of Us Part II
That was previously under Unintentionally Unsympathetic, but cut because UU was getting bloated and complainy. I also think it overlooks said 14-year old girl was willing to sacrifice themselves for the chance to save the world and the sympathetic portrayal coming from a biased perspective. And they seem to bit a character to be a "hero". I can see it as potentially valid but it looks like complaining about intentionally dark/grey morality as well. Thoughts?
