The TVTropes Trope Finder is where you can come to ask questions like "Do we have this one?" and "What's the trope about...?" Trying to rediscover a long lost show or other medium but need a little help? Head to Media Finder and try your luck there. Want to propose a new trope? You should be over at You Know, That Thing Where.
I'm not seeing anything. Seems viable if we don't have it.
The Simpsons and Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Third Wheel have this happen too, so it's not too rare of an idea. Anyone willing to take this to TLP?

Every Grounded Cartoon starring children usually has this. Tends to be substituted with school trip to parent’s workplace though. Portal had one.........didn’t go so well.
I agree that this is definitely viable as a trope. I've seen it many times before. The Boss Baby can be said to be an example - the plot really gets going once the parents take Tim and the Boss Baby to their workplace, PuppyCo, which is exactly where the Boss Baby wants to be as part of his mission. The picture book Bunny Business is about an enterprising young bunny who starts his own business when his mother takes him to work after the bunnysitter calls off sick for the day.

Usually seen in cartoons, in this episode the parents take their children with them to work. An alternative could be "Take your daughter to work". I've seen this in The Loud House and Lampshaded once in an episode of Phineas and Ferb by Vanessa.
If I'm not mistaken, this is not very common in media nowdays, so it could very well be a Dead Horse Trope.
