Hello. I was PM'd by Dirtyblue929 about the situation and while I'm a regular on the Star Wars pages, I will admit that there's something strange going on with Thetropemaster101's edits and PMs. I'll add my two cents on the situation.
So, Thetropemaster101 PM'd me about trying to clean up some edits over the past few months, especially on the recap and YMMV pages where I fixed up misspellings and correct some grammatical errors (all of those pertain to Star Wars). A few days ago, I got a puzzling PM where he asked me to add a bunch of tropes to the YMMV pages shortly after I edited the Trivia.Mighty Morphin Power Rangers The Movie page the same way the troper did to Dirtyblue929.
Maybe a reminder might help...?
Edited by gjjones He/His/Him. No matter who you are, always Be Yourself. All I can really add here is that Tropemaster and Manny were not the same people. They were close friends, but that seemed to be the extent of it. At least, if he and Manny were the same person, that was never confirmed AFAIK.
Still, their behavior troubles me too.
This is incredibly minor compared to everything else, but tonight they came to the Family-Unfriendly Aesop thread
to try and campaign for it to be YMMV with no actual reasoning given, which isn't very relevant except that it just seems to fit with all of their other weird quirks and their general attitude about things- and it did rub the wrong way, as inoffensive as it is in isolation. I'm mostly only bringing it up for the sake of painting the full picture and not leaving anything out.
EDIT: Can't be too certain since I did clear out my inbox at one point, but I vaguely remember having a PM like this too. Not 100% so I could be misremembering or thinking of something else, but yeah.

I just removed it from the page.

history and digging into other bits of their forum history reveals an odd tendency for them to just pop up, make vague suggestions while often ignoring etiquette, and then vanish into the aether.
All of these things are minor on their own but add up to a really weird picture.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallBased on their PM behavior and history, I am issuing a precautionary suspension.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"

So I recently got a PM from Thetropemaster 101 wherein he more or less ordered me to make some specific edits to a bunch of Star Wars character pages, and I believe that I'm not the only one since I noticed a few edit reasons throughout the index mentioning that they were being done based on "PM suggestions."
This was particularly notable since he did so through an edit notifier for an edit I made on Seven Deadly Sins, which had nothing to do with Star Wars (while I do edit the Star Wars pages frequently, it comes across as fairly stalkerish).
Searching for him on ATT I found numerous threads going back up to two years detailing all kinds of problematic behavior, including:
As well as creating a bunch of strange
, complainy
ATT threads and a very weird personal page where he describes himself as "the best troper on this website" and expresses a desire to be a moderator.
