This odd sorting is IMO the reason why Live Blogs is probably inactive now. It’s cause everyone thinks it just stopped after 2011 lol.

And even beyond that, I've tried making one and it refuses to actually get published. The whole thing just seems broken.

Sorting by "Latest Updated" is backwards - it starts with the most necrotic live blogs on page 1 and ends with the most recently updated ones on the last page. The Author and Subject sorting options don't work at all, they just sort things the same way as Latest Updated.
