Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
I'm not sure it's a page we should have at all.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing. It's a fanspeak definition. We have a number of such pages, which I think go in the main namespace.
It shouldn't be a useful note because useful notes are intended to provide useful background information about settings, historical events, and so on, not just to define a term.
It is, but generally our fanspeak definitions have some relation to media. This is just internet forum slang.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.Well, I wouldn't be sad to see it go, but it's completely harmless.
I feel it's a pointless page. Seems like an obvious cut.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool. It's pretty pointless, I agree.
Current Project: The TeamIt sure isn't useful, but we do have plenty of similarly useless pages; the vast majority of Fora, Wiki Tropes, and Blog Tropes are similarly useless definitions.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.^ The Wiki Tropes ones would work better if they were all Administrivia, for starters.
Current Project: The TeamI would say the Wiki Tropes are useful because they at least describe things that happen on this wiki.
The Fora and Blog Tropes can get super trimmed, though.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.I think we should just cut it.
Health sure is versatile. It's possible to be both light-headed and dim-witted. At the same time, no less.I'd probably make some kind of general info page like Forumspeak with short definitions for the exampleless pages or something as while these aren't tropes, I think they're quite interesting and good to know (stuff like Implonkus or Thread Hopping are things I would have never heard about before), and in general may help understand stuff that happens on this site's forum while not taking up much space. Singular articles, almost definitely not, at least if they don't have actual examples from media.
Edited by Piterpicher Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods Of Incremental)I think the forum tropes are fun to have. If their existence is such a problem, i'd be ok with Piterpicher's proposal.
"It's just a show; I should really just relax"Piterpicher’s proposal sounds good: consolidate these definitions to a single page. But what happens if I search for one of these terms then? Will search find the consolidated page?
Should IBTL be a useful note?
