Bumping for Mod visibility.
That is Natter on top of being poorly written. Also if it wasnt about Gender they wouldnt have Rachel solve the thing.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here. What's with natterers and refusing to capitalize or use grammar properly? It's like they aren't even trying to hide it.
Eh, the sort of people who natter are the people who aren't concerned with silly things like formatting and etiquette, so it makes sense they'd also not care enough to use correct grammar.
And yeah, they're just flat out wrong here.

"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."Sent them a customized PM to discuss it here.
And they are back. A little better with the grammar but still adding this to the Friends Headscratchers page.
- Not really a double standard at all. Joey dated a mentally unwell woman, who believed him to be someone else entirely.
For context the headsractcher was about Ursula sleeping with her ex-fiancee who believes she is Phoebe and whether or not it is a double standard. I have already deleted this once so I can't delete it again but I'm not wrong that this is natter, am I?
^ I don't know, Headscratcher pages work differently. Isn't it expected for people to answer other people's headscratchers?
I assumed at the very least it should be about the same topic instead of using another character's actions to say it isn't double standard. I mean if we go down that road, Chandler's sleeping with Monica when she's had a few drinks should be brought up. The original headscratcher was about Ursula whether her actions would have been worse had she been male. Or when Rachel and Monica pretended to be each other to date two doctors.
Edited by LadyErinNYMaybe I'm reading too much into it but to me it sounds like they are saying because Joey did something similar it makes Ursula's actions okay. And I might even agree with you if it weren't for their other instances of natter.
Edited by LadyErinNYGemma's back. I get what people are saying about headscracters but is saying this seriously okay?
- I take it that those of you who think it’s double standard that would never happen in reverse have never seen How I Met Your Mother. Sex crimes played for laughs galore.
https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Tropers/Gemma So this new troper's has been writing natter mostly in the Headscratchers.Friends. https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/article_history.php?article=Headscratchers.Friends. https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/article_history.php?article=Creator.AllisonPregler https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/article_history.php?article=Creator.AnaDeArmas#edit25523365Edit Edit: They added this under Recap.Friends S 5 E 15 The One With The Girl Who Hits Joey
- Double Standard: Abuse, Female on Male: Zig-zagged. This episode initially plays it as a joke that Joey's new girlfriend Katie keeps hurting him by hitting him playfully. However, Joey is not okay with it and does end up breaking up with her. Rachel also gets a taste of it and realizes how wrong they were to mock Joey; she tries to give Katie a taste of her own medicine before throwing off all pretenses and giving her a good kick. Still, it's hard to imagine this episode as "The One with The Boy Who Hits Monica", so the Double Standard is clearly in effect.
- not really. The joke was about Katy’s size, not really about gender.
Their response to my natter notification was just to say "well other people liked it."The reason why I didn't report them before is because I'm not really sure how to describe their agenda only than saying it is natter and poorly written natter at that.
