This may not be it but I see a lot of people reminiscing about this which is not quite what you mention but the family is living inside a dollhouse. They are dolls but are actual humans from the movies perspective. This is a longshot from what you described.
Okay, this one is gonna seem completely bizarre, but I've literally been thinking about this shit for half my lifetime and it's wigged me out HARD. At some point, when I was a kid in the late 2000s, I was stuck at some relative's house for some family event, and I ended up watching the first five minutes or so of some extremely weird movie on TV. It involved a family of dolls, like, actual dolls in a dollhouse, not animated, with acting in voice over. The voice acting, to my recollection, was super flat and laconic. I remember the daughter (?) being like "Dad. We've literally turned into dolls." and showing some, like, awareness of the fact that their seemingly normal family has turned into dolls, but nobody else shows that same awareness.
I probably saw it sometime between 2007 - 2012; I have no fucking clue what period it was from. Anyhow, shit was weird enough that I'm still wondering what the hell that was in 2020. Help please!
