Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

Because the anime is a very faithful adaptation of the manga, and doesn't have many unique tropes. There are a few anime-exclusive tropes, but they're rare enough that they can go on the same page as the manga with just a note about them being only in the anime.
The work was a manga first, so a redirect for the anime was created. It can be split into its own page if there is "enough" to make the page for the adaptation distinct from the original medium. The "enough" is tricky; sometimes it is very easy to find and sometimes it isn't. An anime/manga adaptation is more likely to be identical than their western counterparts, but it still happens frequently.
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.Yep. It’s mostly ‘cuz the manga came first.
Generally with anime adaptations the storyline doesn’t diverge from the source material strongly enough for a second page covering the anime on its own to truly be necessary (save for edge cases like Fullmetal Alchemist ‘03 vs. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood). Diamond is Unbreakable, for instance, is pretty much gonna be the same story regardless of the medium.
oh, that's why I need this binary mind // ⌘^ Including the live-action film, I presume? (I don't disagree, I'm just asking.)

Why does Anime.Jo Jos Bizarre Adventure link to Manga.Jo Jos Bizarre Adventure instead of having its own separate page?
