Bump.
I asked this somewhere else and a few answered, thankfully, I am glad some are helping me, but no one recalls such an episode either. Someone said that they even have Dead Like Me and saw all the episodes, and cannot remember such a scene, so I think this must be from some other show or is wrongly accurate. Look, I do not know why no one has responded, but I know someone here must know what I am talking about, Dead Like Me was a very popular show.
Don't think it's from Criminal Minds or CSI, but if it's not Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Supernatural, or Dead Like Me, then what it is from, either the person who posted that trope imagined it, was confilating it with something else, saw it on another show, or was quite inaccurate, because no one knows this either.
Turns out, the episode Death Defying, episode 10 of season 2, has an arm wrestler who suffers from a minor spontaneous combustion incident. He turns out to be fine though. He is not a standup comedian, but Buffy and the other characters are at a bar, which is holding a comedy night. The person who mentioned this, probably confused details, or it probably happened more than once in that episode. I do not know what else it could be from.

From the Dead Like Me page, someone added the trope Spontaneous Combustion, this is what was described:
"One episode sees an untalented stand-up comedian literally die on stage by inexplicably exploding after one of his bad jokes."
Does anyone recall an episode like that, if not, perhaps from some other show?
