If it will help, some of it is also misuse and can be excised entirely. A dork age is supposed to be when several consecutive works in a series don't do so well with audiences that created a low point in the franchise without killing it or their creator's career (at least I think it's how it goes).

Dork Age is not for single works that have one bad spot in an otherwise good work or franchises that only have a rare stinker in otherwise a well-received franchise.
