for this, but you can use https://www.remove.bg or the magic wand tool in GIMP, a free image editing program.

I've been told that the new Page Image that I've set up for the "SD Gundam" Franchise page should be a Transparent PNG and not a JPEG. I found two
pages
to help me with this, but I don't like how the Transparent version came out.
For the sake of comparison, here's the PNG version of the Page Image;
And here's the Transparent version;
The colors are completely washed out and it looks less lively and proper than it should be! Could someone please give me some help on how to make the image Transparent without taking away the colors?
