This really does seem complainy because he really did not intend to cause the level of trouble he did. He just lost control of the situation when he didn't account for them being able to work together and plot a successful mutiny against "Grogar".

He then made up for it by putting himself on the front lines despite being depowered to help free his friends.

Really nothing that would invoke irredeemable.
