Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

If I'm not mistaken, this has been on TRS before. That said, the concept of a character being both a lesbian and a police officer sounds incidental, rather than being a naturally occurring trope, so maybe it would be worth taking to TRS again.
I got a rock for Halloween.Yeah, it doesn't sound any more like a naturally occurring trope than Five Bad Band or Heroic Albino were.
Contains 20% less fat than the leading value brand!Lesbian Cop was in TRS, but the TRS died. One thing that was brought up was splitting it into both "Cops tend to be tomboys" and "Women in traditionally masculine careers are portrayed as lesbian". I previously drafted a TLP
about career paths that are associated wifh tomboys, but it's been stuck in limbo.
Is there any reason that Lesbian Cop wasn't cut outright? The examples list doesn't seem like it has much (if anything) of value, since it was doomed to be a ZCE magnet from the start.

Lesbian Cop has apparently been around for quite a few years, yet it still has a laconic masquerading as a trope description. There's no explanation of what role the character might fill in the story; it's just "A who also happens to be B." That sure sounds like chairs to me.
