A general policy against exception-only tropes would be new information to me.

Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.

It is a bad idea to have a trope where examples only consist in exceptions. Such a trope may work when it's limited to discussed, conversed examples similar to how Most Common Superpower is set up, but aversions don't work.

Shouldn't they be put through TRS or have a clean-up thread then? There are still several exceptions-only tropes.

^^Does this mean that we shouldn't have articles on omnipresent tropes at all? Because those are in effect exceptions-only since examples of omnipresent tropes are not considered noteworthy?
