Out of curiosity, I did a wick check of pages in the Characters namespace for Incredibly Lame Pun. Of 100 pages
- Character making a Pun: 11
- Pun made out-of-universe (potholed in example): 75
- Lame Pun Reaction: 3
- Pungeon Master: 15
- Punny Name: 7
- Visual Pun: 1
- Evil Has a Bad Sense of Humor: 1
Make of that what you will.

To be honest, I kind of want to shelve discussion on Incredibly Lame Pun and Pun until the existing Trope Repair Shop backlog is cleared out.
Completely Missing The Point, though, should be disambiguated.

Agreed on Completely Missing The Point being disambiguated.
A disambiguation can't hurt, but unless there is a very dedicated effort to correct wicks, that won't stop the misuse much.
Only making either a Red Link may have a noticeable effect, and even then it will take time for the wicks to correct themselves.
Which is this for? I imagine ILP will take a greater effort, but Completely Missing The Point should work better as a disambiguation page so we can then distribute the wicks as needed.
