The TVTropes Trope Finder is where you can come to ask questions like "Do we have this one?" and "What's the trope about...?" Trying to rediscover a long lost show or other medium but need a little help? Head to Media Finder and try your luck there. Want to propose a new trope? You should be over at You Know, That Thing Where.
Not just you. The Trickster mentions Anansi (and Spider-Man), but this seems like it could definitely be its own thing if we don't have it.
I don't think we have this as a trope, but splitting off animal motifs for different tricksters sounds okay; Foxes/Spiders/Coyote.
Link to TRS threads in project mode here. There's Cunning Like a Fox but that's for foxes.
We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenzaAnimal Stereotypes which is closely tied to and often overlaps with Animal Motifs (The analysis page of Animal Stereotypes specifically covers the examination of themes and traits associated with animals in various cultures)
Edited by Scorpion451I'm thinking spider imagery more as cunning Chess Masters who "pulls the strings" and has "webs of influence".
We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenza^That's essentially the first one on the list of spider characterizations: "Patient tricksters or venomous antagonists"
We also have Those Wily Coyotes, so I think this would be worth splitting off as another stock trickster animal.
