Its been bugging me for a while now. I remember a show that told stories of paranormal events that were fictional with a hint of reality (based on true-ish things, but overall fictional).
The show intro started with talking about an abandoned factory or something being demolished and finding a hidden bunker underneath it with tons of records, samples, accounts and stuff of paranormal things left abandoned by some guy (guy was given a nickname but can't recall it). I remember a few of the stories told.
One was of a house that literally absorbed one of its owners into the wall and had been doing this to various animals and even a kid at one point to "sustain" itself as when the owner put up a fence to stop the animals from ruining his garden the house slowly fell apart on its own, which lead it to absorb the owner in the bathroom.
Another was about a village in some south American country (I don't recall it the country was specified or even real) that is attacked by a zombie-like creature covered in ancient mayan tatoos to look like some spirit/monster. Later it turns out this "zombie" is actually a crazy, radio controlled experiment of a guy filled with wires and electrodes the CIA or something made to scare the populace out of the area as there was some civil war or something going on in the country the CIA was involved with.
The last one I remember was about a pair of divers who are attacked by some sea creature that is awakened or unleashed when an off shore drill platform drills into and collapses a bunch of sea caves off the shore. One of the divers is killed and only his gear is found, shredded. Later a strange monster corpse is dredged up from the sea (using a picture of a real unidentified sea creature corpse and a fake prop) along with eggs of the beast which are dropped back into the ocean.
I remember watching the show on Netflix, I can't remember if it was associated with another channel. Its told in a almost documentary fashion with "interviews" of people involved with the incidents in question like the zombie story had an interview with a guy who was involved with the RC Zombie person project or the interview with the surviving diver.
Sorry for the length. For all that I can remember, I don't get very far without remembering the name.
