I'm going to have to go with People Sit on Chairs for this one. LGBT people might be more prone to atheism than cisgender, heterosexual people, but it's still hardly unusual to find LGBT people who are religious.

I think it's more about the Drama Ball resulting from the character being conflicted about their orientation and their religion, especially if the religion has issues with homosexuality.

Armored Closet Gay? Salim, at least in the book, was... betrothed, I think, back in Oman? If they're out and persecuted for it, there's All of the Other Reindeer and Heteronormative Crusader. If they're out, religious, and it's not a problem, I'm not sure it's inherently a trope. Maybe a bit of Politically Correct History if it's in set the real-world past.
