Both of your examples have incorrect use of double asterisk. Your example context is too long and you incorrectly use it as a paragraph break. You should strive for something more clear and concise and use only one level of indentation.

  • Trope: Context context context.

Correct use of second-level of indentation would be this:

  • Cards of Power:
    • Example A, context how the character uses those etc.
    • Example B, context context context.

It's explained on Example Indentation in Trope Lists.

You keep using this wrong indentation:

Wrong

  • Claire and David: this trope is used when...
    • Alice and Bob used it too when...

Okay then.

Then how about this in regards to the Cards of Power example?

  • Cards of Power: Interacts with Ace's kit in two ways listed below:
    • Example A, context regarding the cards above his head
    • Example B, context regarding his unique-framed-buff post rework

Does that work?

^ That's fine, since it's still two examples, you just added a little context beforehand.

Also, your Cards of Power example says "A recent quality of life update", which violates the Examples Are Not Recent rule.

For a basic overview to help you out, here are two acceptable forms of indentation.

  • Trope Name:
    • Example
    • Example

  • Trope Name: Short Context (Not the example itself or Wall of Text.)
    • Example
    • Example

Hope this helps you out.

Derp. About the "recent" part, it has been a while since I've edited Ace's folder on that part and that was when I think Ace received that quality-of-life in the JP version already; in GL and likely in the original JP date Ace received that QoL when he got his Lv. 60 awakening, so yeah, it's not recent. My bad.

It isn't about when you wrote the example, Examples Are Not Recent is the policy page explaining why we write in the present historical tense. If you wrote the example correctly, it will still be here ten years from now. If the example doesn't seem appropriate for ten years from now, it isn't right.
