Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
^ That's what I tried to do with the last link, but it didn't work for some reason :/ Most of their edits though are very new and easy to find, so I didn't think it'd be as big a deal. In any case, I'll try to provide links in future reports.
Edited by WarJay77 Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallCould it be because the last edit is so old it's not on the immediate history?
Anyway, thanks for providing links to everything else.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallI should mention that there's some discussion starting on the Quote thread about LOL, 69. The new quote may actually be put back up (with consensus).
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallI shall put the stinger back on LOL, 69, then I shall revert some of the edits that the troper this thread's about made.
Little bump: I don't want this to fall behind without resolution.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallThe LoadingReadyLive edit is valid, at least. "The Crapshoot" was a show that LoadingReadyRun used to stream on their Twitch channel, but it ended a while ago, so it shouldn't be listed on their current lineup.
Edited by PrimisThen it should be in a "Discontinued Shows" folder, not entirely deleted. It existed, it can be troped, even if it's no longer ongoing.
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.^ My main issue with that specific deletion was the lack of an edit reason. I thought this may have been the case, but they didn't exactly make it obvious.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallBump? Can something be done about this? I sent the notifier for edit reasons (and while their most recent edit still lacks a reason I can hold out faith other ones might), but isn't the arbitrary deletion and changing of things dating back to 2016 something they should be tapped about?
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallNotifiers are handy before we actually formally suspend, as it creates a record. It also serves a purpose of intervention, to see if the behavior in question will be self-corrected.
Yes, sometimes we do suspend without notifiers, but not as a rule. Personally, I prefer seeing if a notifier or PM does the trick before swinging away.
This is fair, but will a notifier about edit reasons really help the issue of arbitrary deletions?

Troper GG Crono has... some questionable edits. Note that none of these edits provided any edit reasoning:
Mind, this is only looking at the first ten or so edits in their history. The theme I'm getting is random, un-discussed changes to articles to the point of outright removals of things they don't like with no explanations given. I'll send a notifier about leaving edit reasons, but their edits go back to 2016, and they were doing it then, too.
(Edit: Kinda thought that linking directly to their edit would, well, show their edit. Apparently not. To find it like I did, I just clicked to see all edits and then Ctrl+F'd their name.)
