I don't see the pin icon in the forum...I do on normal pages, but not here. (I'd post a screenshot of what the site looks like for me, but the site won't let me.) Since I can't do that, if you wouldn't mind, could you say about where on the top bar I should look for the pin icon? I'm willing to believe that there is an icon here that I just keep missing; I just don't know where it would be, even from your suggestion.

I just realized the confusion here: What you guys are saying to do works for the forums, but I messed up and...I'm not on the forums, which I thought I was on. Apparently, this Ask the Tropers space—which is what I meant to be asking about—is not forum space. Sorry for the confusion. At least now I know how to follow things on forums...
With that cleared up, is there any way to follow discussions here at Ask the Tropers?

Yeah Ask the Troper threads can't be followed, so remember to bookmark the ones you wish to follow manually to your webbrowser.
Otherwise you'll have to remember the keywords of your wanted threads to use in the Ask the Tropers search engine to find what you want.

Good to know. I find it annoying that these can't be followed, but at least I now know affirmatively that they can't be followed so that I can act accordingly. Thanks for the information and clarifications, everyone! :)
After posting a couple of items on the forums here, I've wanted to know when things happen in relation to those forum posts (e.g. if someone comments on them), but I don't have any idea if there is a way to get notifications for such things in the same way that one would for normal site pages (I assume that clicking the Follow button on a normal article does this, but forum posts don't seem to have these). If this isn't too bothersome and someone could explain this to me, that would be greatly appreciated!
