Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
They've done this for every other possible wiki page too. https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/el.php?findfor=Pinokio
The Protomen enhanced my life.^^ If it's the only example on the page and is a duplicate of the franchise-wide example, then the page should be cutlisted.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.I cut the examples from the trivia pages that had more than one entry, and Cut Listed the rest.
I left the one on Trivia.Castlevania Harmony Of Despair, though, since that one's pointing to a wiki specifically for that game. Although said wiki is in Japanese, so is it worth keeping?
Yes
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.I found similar cases of this on several trivia pages for Dragon's Quest and Final Fantasy games. Should those be cut too?
^ I don't see why not, this ATT query sets precedent that if a whole franchise has a wiki, only the franchise's trivia page should have The Wiki Rule (though an exception could be made if an instalment or spin-off has a wiki of its own).
Agh. Dump all of that garbage, except for Trivia where it belongs. Also, if the trope is just "work has a wiki", and the only context is a link to that wiki, it's violating a whole smorgasbord of policies and should be rethought in its entirety.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"You'd have to start a TRS thread for that.
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.To be clear, do not submit franchise trivia pages with The Wiki Rule to the cut list.

Pinokio added this:
to literally every single Castlevania trivia subpage (that's 37 pages), often creating the subpage just to add it as the page's sole example. This seems excessive, surely just once on the main trivia subpage is enough, right?
I already Cut Listed a couple of them before I realized they were on every page, so is it alright if I remove / Cut List the remainder of them?
