Mechanically Unusual Class.

That's not quite what I was thinking of, either, though there's a good deal of overlap, most likely. Let me try to be more specific; in a game where characters, vehicles, or some other things are sorted into "tiers" or "classes," there's a character or vehicle that is the only one that belongs to one class. Alternatively, in a game with a Job System, there could be a class only one particular character has access to (i.e. everybody can be a knight, but only Andy can be a Black Mage.)

That'd be an inherent part of a Job System or Character Class System - one of the common limitations is that characters have to meet certain criteria to qualify for certain classes/jobs. An extreme form of this would be a criteria of "be Andy".

If they're the only character that can qualify for said job, there's a good chance that it's a Mechanically Unusual Class or Mechanically Unusual Fighter- say, only Andy can qualify for the Black Mage class which focuses entirely on damaging magic in contrast to other casters in the game.
