Both are the wrong here. Yonggary shouldn't have replaced a page image without taking it to the Image Pickin' Thread, Cookie Monster left an unacceptable edit reason, and Yonggary's now started an edit war.
Sent Image Change and Rudeness notifiers to Yongary and Cookie respectively. Though may be too little too late for Yongary since they've already actively edit warred.
Also took the liberty of changing the image back. That could be considered keeping up the Edit War, but the original change was against the rules in the first place, and that's usually an exception.
Edit: got a reply from Cookie Monster 69. They said they already apologized to Yongary.

Given that the current image is rather "busy", it would definitely make sense to send this to Image Pickin'.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.
Got a reply from Yongary. They apologized for the change and I advised them of needing to use the Image Pickin forum to change to a different image and of the add/remove/add-remove/add/remove sequence of edit wars.

Today, Yonggary 2011 change it back with "Yonggary is really underrated." as edit reason.
Personally, I would like to change it back on the ground that Godzilla is most well-known example of the trope, but the Edit War has to be dealt with first.
