... okay, your last sentence is sorta gibberish, but antagonists only qualify for Alas, Poor Villain if the work is intentionally playing their fate for sadness. It's not an Audience Reaction.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.^ There are certain cues that indicate what tone the scene is going for: sad music, characters looking mournful, etc.
I'm familiar with FMA: Brotherhood, and only about half of the entry is actually accurate, IIRC.
Hohenheim does feel bad about Father's fate, and everyone is pitying Envy in their death scene. But Gluttony's death scene is more Played for Horror towards Pride's actions, not sadness for Gluttony's fate, and I don't think Pride's "death" is meant to be sad at all, partially since they don't actually die.
So, yeah, Father and Envy are Alas, Poor Villain, and Gluttony and Pride are not.

I was wondering: When does an antagonist qualify for Alas poor villain? Does It need to be invoked by someone in the series itself or it:when's simply When the viewers pity them? It's because the full metal alchemist manga/ Brotherhood homunculi has gotten a ton that, no offense feel more like whitelisting Than Alas, Poor Villain
