The change in the game content does count as Executive Meddling, the shelf pulling as Too Soon.

Does anyone else think "their meddling was obvious" sounds really negative? Or is it just reading that way because Executive Meddling is so often used for complaining on the wiki?

^It's Word Cruft either way (and potentially Flame Bait due to why the change was made), but I think both of the traits you listed apply. The scare quotes in the same sentence aren't helping, either, considering how much more serious of a subject 9/11 was in the early '00s.

Yeah, is this alright to cut? I would question whether this even qualifies as meddling- odds are, literally everyone involved was behind the change.
