Edited by MitchellProductions All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, but all play and no work makes Jack a mere boyAre you referring to the show "Automan"?
This was very commonly used in the various Star Trek series (listing all the examples would take far too long).
Futurama did it as well, an example being Kif Gets Knocked Up Another Notch. The line was "Computer: Run program Kif 1". In this case it would seem to have been a reference to the Star Trek use (the line was spoken on a holoshed, a clear reference to the Star Trek holodeck).
Especially in cartoons, I remember hearing certain characters telling the AI to do something, with the key quote being "Computer, (do something)". Do you know any?
