I've seen an even balance of screenshots and official/production art, but I think the second lone looks better.
The Protomen enhanced my life.Someone also replaced many of the screenshots on Characters.Fullmetal Alchemist with model art.
Keet cleanup^ Which reminds me, Characters.Miss Kobayashis Dragon Maid also got the same treatment a long while back.
Per that page's edit history, no edit reasons were left when the screenshots were replaced with official art models.
Edited by Tenma-YuukiBumping since I've yet to hear a word from staff about this.
If it is not covered in How to Pick a Good Image, then there is not an official policy.
^ Okay, thanks. I'll try and bring this up in discussion instead.

Prior to Characters.YuGiOh VRAINS being split into multiple subpages due to the "page too long warning", someone replaced most (if not all) of the character images with images of the same characters, but taken directly from (mostly) individual episode screenshots instead. As far as I know, no proper consensus was established over this prior to the changes made, nor were there any edit reasons explaining why they were made.
(Example: This image◊ was formerly used to represent Yusaku Fujiki (whose folder is now located in Characters.YuGiOh VRAINS Cafe Nagi Confidants); this is the current image◊ used to represent said character.)
Is there some sort of standard on what kind of images should be used to present characters in character pages?
