There is an anime series called Shin Mazinger, but the main character of that series is the same main character as most of the anime in the Mazinger franchise, and he has black hair.
I searched on Anime Planet for redheaded mecha pilot main character guys
and it was a relatively small list, although none from any shows that I’ve watched. Do any of those characters look familiar?
It wasn't mazinger form what I remember I know bc the mechas of mazinger are very distinctive in their desings, also the mechas where way weirdier, and the visuals look from a anime from after the 2000s, i also remember that the protagonist had red long hair and the mecha had something like an egyptian theme, there were also a reincaration romance i think.

The more I've been pondering this one, is it possible you're thinking of RahXephon? I know that show pulled from Egyptian and Mesoamerican influences, and while there wasn't exactly a reincarnation romance in the TV series (although they did rewrite it to be one in the manga version), there was a romance subplot where one of the main girls is actually assuming the appearance of a younger version of the MC's lost love; unbeknownst to him the real one is now much older than him because of a time-distortion effect, and in the epilogue the MC and his reunited love after they fixed the timeline have a daughter who's obviously a reincarnation of one of the other characters in the show.

I dont think it's Rah Xephon because I remember the main protagonist was a long haired redhead guy with a business suit(also most of the mecha pilots where too for some reason) no that short haired guy, but it has the kind of stethics of the era, I also remember that the guy was also heavily related to mars or something like that and that he was actually rebeling against his people

Could it possibly be Dancouger? There is a long red haired girl as a mecha pilot?
No, I'm pretty sure the protagonist was a long haired guy on a business suit, the antagonists were also in business suits now that I remember, and the guy was some kind of traitor or something

i only remember the name was "Shin somthing Maaz" or something like that and that the enemy mecha progression was like the angels of evangelion in that they started humanoid and then became more like cephalopodes and geomethric
