Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
A Sugar Wiki item tends to be quite loose in requirements, but the definition of it is "A moment when a character does something for which they will be remembered forever, winning for them the eternal loyalty of fans", which obviously just existing doesn't meet.
It's also a general example. Double-strike.
^ Does this mean that "meta-examples" aren't allowed? If so, that might need a cleanup thread.
Meta-examples are a grey area for Moments (except for Tear Jerker, as that is NRLEP) - see this query for the most recent discussion. Basically, the current best compromise is that meta-examples shouldn't constitute the entire example content. There should be at least some in-work Moments.
I've noticed some Moment of Awesome examples that are basically "the mere fact that this work/character exists". This feels a bit like shoehorning, since the work or character's existence is a fact rather than a moment.
