I would say if it is getting impossible to read with all the spoiler tags, then going the "Here be spoilers, Caveat Lector" route would be justified. Our fandom is the use of tropes, not the property which uses them. We assume that the casual reader comes here to be informed rather than to be overly worried about spoilers.

However, I know that it is contentious at times. I think this could be one of those tricky cases where consensus will be hard to come by.

I see. The six seasons have aired long ago (the sixth one ended back in 2014) and the plot is really well-known, so is it also necessary to remove the tags in addition to the reasons I explained above (i.e. the sheer volume of spoilers, quotes are spoilers off)?

Also when I tried to unmark the spoilers from Ahsoka's Wham Line entry, snivyTsutarja swiftly restored it. It also violates Spoilers Off as spoiler tags for quotes are not allowed. I also tried to unmark all the spoilers to maintain consistency with the character pages, but the user reverted it.

I don’t wish to get involved in an edit war over it; as such, I thought a discussion about the spoilers would be necessary. If we do get a consensus, I plan to remove all spoiler tags for the series.

Bump. Manny 20444 pointed out on the discussion page that the separate pages should retain the spoilers. Although, per the policy, spoilers in quotes are not allowed. We always should remain cautious of those who haven't seen The Clone Wars.

As pointed out elsewhere by lakingsif here, TV shows are commonly spoilers-off for all but the latest season (in this case, The Clone Wars should be spoilers-off for the first six seasons). When Season 7 is released, the spoiler tags will be in effect for that season of The Clone Wars.

Still, like I said, we may need some thoughts from other tropers on this matter regarding the spoilers before the appropriate changes can be made.

Bumping it up again. I've already brought up part of the situation over on the Violations of the Spoiler Policy thread.

Another bump. I've already PM'ed snivyTsutarja about the spoiler policies, have explained that the bugs on the discussion page are forcing me to repeatedly reply to my own comments, and am trying to post the spoiler recommendation in the appropriate forum to get more feedback.

If they don't work out, is there anything we can do about the spoiler situation in general?

Traditionally, we remove the spoilers the day before the new material comes out, not merely when it's announced. Just wait a bit.

All right. Will do.

Removing spoiler tags is always a good thing.
