Thank you both so much!
I used to watch Chicago Hope, but I did not know the episode titles back when I watched it. Here is as much as I remember. I will use information from the TV tropes page for the series for two:
1) "A patient's brother demands a donor heart at gunpoint. The doctors manage to talk him down, but in desperation, he kills himself so that his brother can have his heart." (trope: Code Silver)
2) "A patient has a stroke that renders him unable to move or communicate. The staff tries an experimental procedure that involves implanting electrodes directly in his brain, allowing him to communicate via a computer with a voice generator. The surgery is a success and he can communicate with his family. However, he will still be unable to ever move or communicate normally again. Invoked in-universe when two doctors are walking by his bed later that night, casually talking about their dinner-and-a-movie plans for the evening. The patient (via his speech generator) begins repeating "Kill me. Kill me. Let me die. Let me die."" (trope: Fridge Horror)
3. This one I remember a few scenes. A young boy named Erik has OCD. He undergoes a surgery, which he refuses to have, as the doctors perform surgery on him, two medics come into the room (one doctor, one assistant) and ask them what they are doing. Erik is so nervous that he urinates into a plant while having head bandage. In a scene, people visit the house of Kathy Najamy's character and her house was ruined, I think Erik was angry with her about having to undergo the surgery. Was he her son? I cannot remember.
Please help, thank you.
