The Roaring '20s covers the period in quite some detail, The Flapper is another good source of info. The two major competing aesthetics of the era were Art Nouveau (which was on its way out) and Art Deco (which was being born); Raygun Gothic was their vision of the future.

Legitimate Businessmens Social Club is closely related to the concept of the speakeasy, as well.
